While Roger was out of town, I took the boys for pictures as an early Father's Day surprise. I just love that place because they always capture some great pictures! Of course, that makes it hard to decide what to buy! So here are a few from that shoot!
Last week at the beach I left my camera in my sister's bag...so until I see her tomorrow I won't have pictures to post from our recent trip. The boys had a blast at the beach! I am really glad that Logan got over his "fear" of water in the face last week before we went. He was right in that ocean water jumping waves and trying to go out as far as his big brother the entire time! We were able to find lots of shark teeth and Austin collected quite a few neat shells! Logan's favorite thing to find were "mudbugs" (not sure of the real name for the little things) in the tide pools and even crabs! One day there was a huge one right by his feet while we was laying in the water. I went to pick it up thinking it was a rock until I saw it's big blue claws! Then, instead of grabbing the "rock" I grabbed him away.
While we were there, Logan (with the help of a little girl a little older than him) learned how to go under water and stay there holding his breath! Then, he learned how to swim underwater too (or "Swum" as he says)! He had to show EVERYONE in the pool. It's exciting to see them do new things but also a little sad! I think they are both at the age where I can really see them growing up right in front of my eyes! I no longer have a toddler for sure! I'll be taking him for his 4 yr old shots soon and then signing him up for school. We already have him registered for Springdale Baptist Preschool (where Austin went), but we may have a 4 yr old program at my school in the fall so we are going to try to get him there if he can. He's really excited about the possibility of coming to school with Austin and me!
Austin had fun looking for "hot ladies" (he'd die if he knew I posted that!)! He really did like swimming in the ocean! Not sure where he gets that from because I do not like swimming where I can't see what's around me. We had a school of sting ray (4 of them) our last day there that kept sufacing part of their fins (looking like shark fins!!!) that kept everyone out the water for quite a while. He enjoyed using his camera on the pier, and he can't wait to start editing videos with Uncle Mike! He is also very interested in the guitar so we may be getting him one for his birthday along with some lessons! ;) Well, I hope to post beach pictures tomorrow when I get my camera back. I just didn't want to put off posting anything!

The picts. are great Stephanie!!! Where did you go? Sounds like you guys had a great time at the beach! I totally agree with you on not swimming where you can't see what's around!!! CSES may have a 4-year old program next year???? Wow! Where are you guys going to put it??? That will be SO much fun to have both of your boys there with you and SO cute to see little ones walking through the hallways!
Katy, we always go to Picture People in Columbianna Mall. They do fabulous (even let you change if you want between shoots) and you get the pictures in an hour or less! Fabulous!!!
I am assumming they are going to put the 4 yr old program in Wanda Williams' room (she retired this year) and it was a "kindergarten room." I'd love to get together this summer! Anytime you want to come swim you are welcome!!!
