A Date with the Boys!

I know it's been almost a month since my last post, and this isn't really a "real" one. I have lots of pics I need to upload from my camera in order to do the "real" one, but I was feeling really guilty about neglecting the blog...so, I'm using an old favorite (Katie, it's adapted with Picnik) with this post. The end of the school year is always a hectic time for me (and all teachers), but next week is the last week before summer vacation...WAHOO!!! The boys and I went to Chili's for our "date lunch" today, then shopping at Kohls (not their favorite thing to do, but most of what we got was for them), and then our monthly trip to Krispy Kreme! Their new chocolate covered/chocolate cake doughnut was SO YUMMY!!! Though, now I should do two workouts after eating it! Since it's Memorial Day Weekend (and we have no school Monday!!!), I will have some pics from our pool festivities to post soon! I hope everyone has a great long weekend with their families and friends!!!

The Thunderbirds for Mother's Day

Since today is Mother's Day, I thought it would be appropriate to start off with a picture of me with the boys! Being Austin and Logan's Mommy means so much more than I can put into words! Roger had to work today :( so the boys and I had to celebrate without him today! But, I enjoyed my "date day" with them both, and I think they enjoyed it just as much (if not more)!

Me with both my boys

Here's a close up of four of the Thunderbirds! They are quite difficult to take pictures of because of how fast they fly by. If you ever have the chance to go see them, you should! They are AWESOME! This is my second time seeing them, and I think I could see them 100 times and still be amazed! The manuevers they are able to make are astonishing, and seeing them in action gave me a greater appreciation of all the people that serve and protect us! All I can say is WOW!!!

One of their formation Tricks...they all flew together and then broke off from each other into this "blast" exhibit! The boys sat and watched in amazement! They get SO close to each other!!!

Here's Austin and Logan with Uncle Mike! Thanks for letting us know about this and going with us/taking us there! I know this is something the boys will never forget! It was a great Mother's Day!!!

See What We Have Going On...
